Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers play an integral part in the operations and growth of AIA. If you would like to be on the AIA team, please submit a Volunteer Profile.
We are always seeking volunteers to serve on the board, a committee or special project. If you are interested in serving on the board, elections are held each year and directors and officers take office on the first of each year. The committees and special projects are ongoing activities.

Qualifications to serve on special projects:
Active member in good standing for one year or more. Has background or interest and skills relative to the project he/she is seeking.
Qualifications to serve on a committee:
Active professional, clinical, honorary or business member in good standing for one year or more. Has background or interest and skills relative to the committee appointment he/she is seeking.
Qualifications to serve on the Board:
Each candidate must be an active professional, clinical, honorary or business member in good standing, have good communications skills, have demonstrated leadership and team building skills, must be computer literate with access to the Internet, and able to meet the time and travel commitments of the office.
- President: Active member in good standing for two years or more, and has previously served one full term on the board.
- Vice President: Active member in good standing for two years or more.
- Directors, Secretary and Treasurer: Active member in good standing for one year or more.
