Essential Oils of the Bible – The Old and New Testament Medicine Chest
About the Teleconference:
The Ancient Hebrews as well as the early Christians knew about the healing properties of plants and the oils derived from them. When they anointed for healing, it was not with cooking oil (olive oil) as many suggest. They were using the known healing oils of their day. Over 35 plants are named by name in the scriptures. Want to know some of the fascinating stories concerning frankincense, myrrh, balsam and spikenard? How about aloes, cedarwood, cypress, cinnamon, cassia and calamus? In this hour I will only scratch the surface in talking about how these oils saved the people from plagues, ritually purified them, and made them holy unto God. The early Christians innocently tapped into three forms of vibrational healing when they prayed, laid-on hands and anointed those who were sick. Science can now validate these methods to bring wholeness to the energy field.
Meet Linda Smith:
Linda is the President of the Institute of Spiritual Healing & Aromatherapy which sponsors a national certification in clinical aromatherapy program presenting both British and French models of aromatherapy. As a holistic nurse educator, Linda teaches throughout the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean. She is certified in holistic nursing, Healing Touch, Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry as well as aromatherapy. She is sought after as a national speaker and is the author of several books including two on aromatherapy: Healing Oils Healing Hand, and Essential Oils for Physical, Emotional and Spiritual Health. Linda is a prolific writer and has over 230 articles on the internet, four ebooks on aromatherapy and conducts teleseminars on chemistry of essential oils and aromatherapy for spiritual and emotional health. She will soon start an aromatherapy “club” on topics of interest for the aromatherapy audience.
