Research Grant
The AIA Research Committee will be awarding grants from time to time to potential researchers in the field of clinical aromatherapy. It is our intent to further the field of scientific, aromatherapy research by providing financial support to those who would undertake this worthy endeavor. We are interested in building upon known research findings and bioactivities of essential oils. Documentation of the origins, Latin names and purity of the essential oils used in this research study will be required.
If you feel that you, as an Aromatherapist, have the ability and genuine interest to carry out scientific, aromatherapy research on humans, feel free to download the application to see what is required. You must be an AIA member to receive a research grant. Do not send in a grant application. This is informational only until another grant award is announced. Then we will accept application.
You must be willing to sign a contract stating you will have your research results to the AIA within 20 months after the date of receiving grant monies from the AIA.
