AIA Recognized Schools:

Information About Aromahead Institute, School of Essential Oil Studies

Aromahead Institute offers a 200-hour and 400-hour Aromatherapy Certification Program designed to meet both the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA) requirements, respectively. Additionally the Institute offers a 5-day Teacher Training Program, a 3-day Business Class, and several Advanced Workshops in Essential Oil Chemistry and Medicinal Blending. Aromahead Institute also offers the 200-hour certification as an online, home study program.

All classes provide an in-depth exploration into the art and science of essential oil therapies. Andrea Butje is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a Continuing Education Provider. In additional, all programs are approved in Florida for CEU's in Massage Therapy.

Information about West Coast Institute of Aromatherapy Inc.

The West Coast Institute of Aromatherapy's flexible home study programs allow students to choose how far they wish to progress with their studies. Aromatherapy 101 (170 hour program) is where everyone starts. Those wishing to become Professional Aromatherapists continue with Aromatherapy 201 (440 hours program). The Full Professional Program (Aromatherapy 101 and 201) is 610 hours and graduates are eligible to join the AIA as Clinical Members.

The Aromatherapy 301 course (120 hours) and the 3 day massage intensive are offered in a classroom setting, as are the different monthly workshops. Also available: Aroma Massage DVD and several E-Books.
